Professional Experience

Anthony Nhlapo is a South African trained clinical psychologist. He has worked in various clinical settings in South Africa, including public and private hospitals, community clinics, correctional facilities and private practice. He has over 12 years-experience in mental health, treating various psychiatric/psychological conditions in their mildest to severe forms.
Although he was trained from a psychodynamic perspective, his area of expertise include the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and a blend of psychotherapy modalities to treat various mental health conditions. He provides comprehensive and evidence based-treatment structured and semi-structured plans to individuals, including adolescents & adults. He is also well experienced in couple therapy with special focus on addressing core emotional needs that are at the centre of relationship discords.
