Professional Experience

Nesma Luqman is a bilingual licensed clinical psychologist with experience in individual psychotherapy with adolescents and adults. She holds a MSc in Clinical Psychology from United Arab Emirates University.

Nesma brings expertise in a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety and panic disorders, depression and other mood disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, anger management, and adjustment disorder. She uses a systemic approach along with psychoanalysis, CBT, DBI, Solution Focused Therapy and mindfulness-based techniques.

Nesma has served as a Clinical Psychotherapist Intern for outpatient and inpatient psychotherapy services, as well as administering a variety of psychometric assessments in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi. She also worked as a full-time Clinical Psychotherapist at Kidsheart Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, providing psychological treatment to children, adolescents, adults and their families. Maintaining the utmost levels of professionalism and adhering to strict procedures on confidentiality and safety for the clients is a priority for Nesma whilst she provides treatment.
